A Study On The Popularization Mechanism Of Marxism In Colleges And Universities

Colleges and universities are important territories and significant fields topromote the popularization of Marxism. In recent years, academic circles researchedthe popularization of Marxism in colleges and universities from the aspects of itsconnotation, meaning, principles, challenge and countermeasure, which has obtainedabundant achievements. Meanwhile the research of mechanism usually studies thepractical way of the popularization of Marxism in colleges and universities from oneor two aspects. The research is not comprehensive and sufficient on how to constructthe Marxism popularization mechanism in colleges and universities on the whole.This article, based on the actual situation in colleges and universities, focuses on theresearch of issues concerning the construction of Marxism popularization mechanismin colleges and universities. To some extent, it supplements the research of theinsufficient and incomplete part, and highlights its theoretical significance andpractical value. On the basis of analysis of the relative basic theories, this articleexplores how to build Marxism popularization mechanism in colleges anduniversities from the perspective of theory and practice, which has significantmeaning in promoting the spread, appliance, enrichment and development ofMarxism, especially the socialist theory with Chinese characteristics—contemporaryChinese Marxism, in colleges and universities.With colleges and universities as the field of study, and the popularization ofMarxism as the research object, this paper takes the investigation and research of thefive universities in Yunnan for empirical basis, and formulates the researchframework according to the logical relationship of the theory and practice. First of all,it clarifies the connotation of the popularization of Marxism from theoretical aspectand analyzes and reveals the nature and meaning of the popularization of Marxism incolleges and universities. The popularization of Marxism in colleges and universitiesis a two-way process to apply Marxism, especially the Marxism of contemporary China to arm the mind of the college teachers and students, and to enrich and developMarxism. The popularization of Marxism in colleges and universities is helpful toconsolidate the guiding status of Marxism in the ideology in colleges and universitiesand ensure the socialist direction of operating colleges and universities; to cultivatebuilders and successors of socialist cause with Chinese characteristics; and to theenrichment and development of Marxism, especially that of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics.Taking Marx’s popularity mechanism as the research object, investigation of fiveuniversities in Yunnan Province as the empirical basis, and the formation of aresearch framework according to the logical relationship between theory and practicein this paper. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the main part of the the overallconstruction of is prominent Marx’s popularization mechanism. According to thesurvey data of promoting Marx doctrine popularization in five universities in YunnanProvince, putting forward six elements of Marx’s popularity mechanism: evaluationsubject, audience, path and method, feedback and quality assurance.and solving the"who","whom","what","how the effect of evaluation and feedback"problem. Thenanalyzing the internal link and external relationship between the factors, highlightingthe mechanism of self coordination function. Finally, countermeasures andsuggestions are proposed for the Marx’s popularity Mechanism Optimization--strengthening subject construction, establishing the subject and audience interactionmechanism, perfecting the transmission mechanism, perfecting evaluation mechanismand the quality assurance mechanism, the internal function of these mechanisms andinteractions between them form the Marx’s popularity mechanism, promote thedevelopment of the Marx doctrine of popularity.
