As the release and implementation of “High School Music Curriculum Standard”,the musical education in our country has entered a new era. No matter from theselection of teaching material、the content of curriculum and the objectives ofcurriculum, the musical education puts music aesthetic appreciation as an importantconcept. The high school teaching material has selected a large number of domesticand foreign classical music in different styles, it contains rich musical culture inwhich it demonstrates the epochal character、national character and diversity of thesongs. The weights and portions of the songs in the teaching materials have shown theimportance of "singing" learning in the whole musical education.This thesis takes People’s music publishing house of high school teachingmaterial as an example. It classifies and investigates the style of songs in the textbookand lists main features of these songs as well as combing them with the standard ofteaching material. This thesis also analyses and studies many different styles of thesongs from the aspect of teaching value、 aesthetic value and the value of"double-base’’. Then the thesis starts from the style of the songs and leads to thedemand of professional ability for the teachers. So in order to become a qualifiedmusic teacher in high school, they have to learn and master all sorts of songs invarious styles. Meanwhile, the music education major university, it also raised thelearning of vocal music will make own thinking.
