On basis of further clarification of the definition, connotation and properties of hidden curriculum, the present study aims to identify, from the perspectives of hidden curriculum, the existing problems in the current logistics service systems of universities, with particular attentions paid to capacity empowerment for the labor force in the logistics service sections so as to upgrade their performances in better serving higher educations. Findings and conclusions are drawn from the study as follows:Moral education is the priority in nurturing worthy talents, but unfortunately, the present education system, in which ideological and theoretical doctrines are deemed as the only means for doing so, often falls short in achieving desired results. Hence, it is of imperative necessity to tap into the rich resources of hidden curriculum so that they can exert gradual yet profound and life-long influences on the students' values, attitudes, beliefs and emotional traits even without their notices. It is imperative to highlight the educational functions of the logistics service sections in universities. With its extensive coverage of the diversified aspects of the students' life, the performance and accomplishments, as well as the work ethics of the people involved in this field are constantly projecting their influences on the formation of the students' outlooks and values. As a result, the logistics departments in universities constitute integral parts of the hidden curriculum of higher education. This recognition implies that all the people engaged in the service sections must understand their own work from the perspectives of hidden curriculum, viewing themselves as the TEACHERS even though they do not actually deliver any lectures or teach any specific courses. Only when this new recognition and new positioning is in place can they establish a corresponding work ethic under which they will measure their service performances against the standards of the hidden curriculum.High-quality of the work force in the logistics department is the essential foundation for scientific management and top level services. For this purpose, the persons in the management of the department must be exemplary in being self-disciplined, upright and having moral integrity. Only by doing so, can a hard-working, highly-motivated, fully dedicated and efficient work force be created to lay down a solid foundation for improved performance in serving their roles as required by the hidden curriculum. The highly diversified and heavy workload involved in the logistics departments of universities makes it necessary to cultivate sound teamwork spirits and well-coordinated work between the various sections. So, continuous training and learning programs are essential in enabling each person in the team to better understand their respective roles in implementing the hidden curriculum effectively. The peculiar features and its accompanying influences of the logistic department as parts of the hidden curriculum of the higher education system must be constantly taken into consideration, paying special attention to such aspects as their being covert and hidden, being diversified, their influence being long-lasting and non-academic. When details are highlighted in the work, many of the negative aspects, for instance, its uncertainty and the proneness of its impacts to overspread, will be duly overcome, hence contributing to timely correction of any mistakes once they are identified.
