This thesis analyzes the integration of moral education into primary Chinese language teaching. Based on his long-term Chinese language teaching experience and combined with the problems existing in Chinese language teaching for primary school, the author elaborates on how moral education is integrated into Chinese language teaching in an efficient and reasonable way.The thesis has six chapters. The first chapter"Introduction"discusses about the nature and function of school moral education, the characteristics of Chinese language curriculum in primary school, and the necessity of integration of moral education into primary Chinese language teaching. The second chapter is"current status of moral education in primary Chinese language teaching". In contrast with the principles of"moral education target system"and"the implementation of'life and ethos education'in class"in Shanghai primary Chinese language textbooks, this chapter analyzes some misunderstandings in current primary Chinese language teaching and comes up with some corresponding solutions. The third chapter is"The principles of integration of moral education into Chinese language teaching in primary school". It brings the five principles with examples and explanations, such as"Nurture and imperceptible influence","Appreciate language and thoughts which are coherent","Experience emotion through language, adroitly guide action according to circumstance","Integrate literacy and words explaining organically","See greatness in trivialness, connect to life experience". The fourth and fifth chapters introduce the detailed methods and approaches with rich practical examples, which are practicable and efficient in the practice of integration of moral education. The sixth chapter is"Several suggestions on integration of moral education into primary Chinese language teaching". It proposes the suggestions from both students'and teachers'aspects that we attach importance to students'inner inspirations and teachers influence students'by their word and deed.
