With the rapid development of economy, science and technology in China, the social economic structure, professional structure and employment structure have been subdivided more than ever. Professional degree graduate education aiming at training advanced practical compound people with professional skills has been concerned increasingly by the national authorities. Full-time professional degree of Master of admission scheme implemented in 2009, which indicates that China's Academic Degrees and Graduate Education enter a new period of development of history. Professional degree is different from the academic degree, which has its own characteristics. The thesis as Curriculum and Teaching in postgraduates cultivation as the theme, elaborated the core role which played in postgraduates cultivation in China. Then, analyzed the basic characteristics of curriculum in professional degree graduate and the differences between professional degree and academic degree. Afterword, pointed out some problems in the curriculum and teaching of professional degree graduate education at present, at the same time, also analyzed the reasons and the influence factors of this questions. At last, the research proposed the corresponding countermeasures to improve and enhance the curriculum and teaching of professional degree graduate education.The research bases on the logical road of theoretical analysis- empirical research-problem solution with adopting synthetic methods of literature analysis and case study, and coordinates with the method of interview. The study discussed about some issues in curriculum and teaching of the professional degree graduate education mainly by six sections.The thesis begins with the concept "professional degree" and analyzes the basic characteristics of professional graduate education, which not only had the character of vocational but also has character of academic. On the basis of research above, the study discusses the connotation, trait and functions of curriculum and teaching in postgraduate's cultivation, and put the discrepancy of practice ability among professional degree, academic degree and vocational education. One of the major roles of curriculum is on the formation of cultivation of practice ability and takes these factors into comprehensive practical ability training. Thereby expound the curriculum's important position and special functions in postgraduate's cultivation. After that, the research takes Fudan University as an example, analyses the curriculum and teaching of various postgraduates education implementation, and introduces the special situation of the professional graduate education in England and USA, for example Taught Master and FPD (First Professional Degree). Based on above, the author shows the present situation and problems of curriculum' instruction of master in professional degree, and will face new challenges in the future. According to theoretical disciplines, the theme illustrates the basic elements of improving curriculum and teaching in postgraduate's cultivation. In order to construction of reasonable course teaching system, we need to consider that the objective of postgraduates education, Orientation of the Market Mechanism and the role of tutor and so on. Finally the paper proposes some corresponding countermeasures: optimizes Cultivation Scheme to implement the subject status of curriculum and teaching; strengthen the building of faculty for establishing and perfecting the double-tutor. Eventually, the significant changes in cultivation mode of professional degree will be achieved in the new situation.
