This paper is based on the questionnaires on consumer culture of college students in Xi'an. The paper carries on a research on the features, problems and the underlying reasons of present consumer culture about Xi'an college students. It has been discovered from the research that there are many factors leading to the appearance of the problems about consumer culture on Xi'an college students. These factors are as such:the influence of the western consumerism and the overall situation of social consumption, the stimulation of most mass media as well as the lagging education on consumption and fanacing in Xi'an colleges and universities.These problems as discovered in my paper strikingly show problems as follows:the unbalance between material consumption and spirit consumption, high-level consumption and pre-mature consumption, the universal deficiencies in planning capability and fanacing capability, alienation of part-time consumption, decifiency in ecologic consumption recognition, blind on-line shopping and consumption of credit card, etc.In order to shape a rational consumer culture concept on Xi'an college students, my paper will put forward some countermeasures and suggestions aiming at solving the problems as mentioned above. The work should be carried on towards all the colleges and universities in Xi'an and the departments, families, college students concerned. The countermeasures and suggestions are related to these aspects:pushing on the progress of work of relavant laws so as to provide a sound legal guarantee for the consumption of Xi'an college students; strengthening the construction of consumption credibility and smoothing the channel for safeguarding consumer's right; advancing the construction for ecologic consumption; promoting the harmonious development of material consumption and spirit consumption; advancing the planning capability and fanacing capability; pushing on the harmonious development of pay-by-card consumption, part-time consumption and the on-line shopping.
