Principal, as the first responsible person, is the core of a school as well as the leader of reform and development of a school. The level of the principal's quality influences curriculum reform and quality education greatly. The practice of quality education and curriculum reform makes newer and higher requirement for the principals on quality and management. The quality of the rural area principals appeals focus of education department and researchers. Investigation on some principals and deputy-principals in the rural area is used for this research paper by the way of questionnaire survey. In terms of the need of the rural area principals, we understand the current situation of the training program of the principals and find the problems. Some problems are that they have strong desire to study with low expectation; the lack of scientific design of the training program can meet the demand of the principals, dull training style with low human-based management, less opportunities and time of training results in unbalance, the qualification of the trainer want improved. Analysis of causes of the problems and reflect on the current lack of training in rural primary and middle school principals, I make five suggestions: create new style of training program with linking two levels of the city and rural area; create new innovative training content focusing on the problems; create new model of training program for the principals focusing on human with different ways; increase the intensity of rural primary and secondary school principal training to improve the quality of the principals; Focus on team-building training to improve the professional level of principal training. Put forward some reasonable strategies and recommendations in order to continuously upgrade the quality of rural primary and middle school teams and to promote the healthy development of rural education.
