The author conducted a survey, finds that the reform of Discipline Inspection Commission, Q City, Jiangsu Province is a typical example.Discipline Inspection Commission, Q City has accomplished a great deal during the reformation, and won people's praise. In order to look into the advantages and shortcomings of the existing leadership system of Discipline Inspection Commission, the author investigated the Q city twice, held symposium with some leaders, Discipline Inspection Commission staffs and some common people. After finished the research and acknowledged the opinions and suggestions, specially learned the success of Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption, a good solution to the problem is that we can further enhance the independence and authority of discipline inspection commission. In the case of not abolishing discipline inspection commission at the grass-roots level, we can execute vertical management at discipline inspection commission; party committee can recall the commissary of discipline inspection commission if it is incompetent. At the same time, we also should strengthen the inspection and the management.
