History Of Chinese Thought: Between Social History And Logic

From the perspective of Marxism, the author does the research on"Chinese Thought History"of Hou Wailu's research. Hou Wailu is known as historians of Marxism. His main works of"Chinese Thought History"has five volumes including six books. According to analyzing the works logically, we can find that he combines social history with thought history during research of"Chinese Thought History", using class analysis method to seek truth from facts and self-independence. Besides, he pays more attention to Materialism and criticizes Idealism as well as his perspective of history nationalization of Marxism. Hou Wailu makes contributions to the research of"Chinese Thought History". His research results give us a lot of inspiration to construct modern"Chinese Thought History", so that the School of Hou Wailu has influenced till now.
