The spiritual cultural life of Chongqing's migrant workers is on the rising, the trend of which must be a change from tradition to modernization, in other words, gradually from traditional lifestyle fitting with singular close self-sufficient peasant economy to modernized lifestyle fitting with the modern industrial civilization and metropolis civilization, that is, from homogeneity to heterogeneity, from monotonicity to multiplicity, from closed pattern to open pattern, from conservative style to enterprising style. But simultaneously, there obviously exist problems and pretty passes in the such aspects as spiritual cultural life, lifestyle, thinking, social psychology, feeling with their city counterparts, because they have a deep close link to the agricultural civilization, and are shocked by multicultural thought when in a city environment with city-country civilization conflict.
