Monographic Study On Spiritual And Cultural Life Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

In this article, the author studies on "the new generation of migrant workers", the termmainly refers to who were born after1980s, with the rural registered permanent residence ofthe rural population and not to engage in agricultural production. According to statistics,the number of the new generation of migrant workes has been more than100million, in thenew and old alternate has been basically completed, the new generation of migrant workers isbecoming important force of migrant workers. The new generation migrant workers has asuperior living conditions compared to the older generation of migrant workers, as theirpromotion of literacy,a large proportion of them accepted high school even college education.Although they work and live in the city, they have no same Welfare treatment compared tourban residents just because without the identity of the city. The questions arethe new generation of migrant workers faced not only include the labor contract, employmentand health care, pension and other material issues, but also sprits questions. The spiritual andcultural life of the new generation migrant workers is not allowed to be ignored by society.Due to strong demand for more Cultural Activities in the field of spiritual,the new generation of migrant workers is eager to come into contact with Cultural Activities.However, the reality has a wide difference with their demands in the actual research. Oncethey have been unable to contact positive and inspiring spirit culture activities, their livingspace will be negative, depressed occupation of cultural activities. So we must pay attentionto the new generation peasant workers’ spiritual and cultural life, by conducting a series ofhealthy cultural activities to improve the quality of their spiritual life and improve theircomprehensive quality, solve all kinds of problems in the field of spirit, to change their stateof mind, reduce the stress in your life and work.In the preparatory stages of writing papers, I choose four units of300Cenozoic migrantworkers as the research object in Xingtai. Making contact and understanding the newgeneration of migrant workers, explore the truth life of spiritual and cultural,and understandtheir true thoughts、feelings and needs in the survey and discussion form. The paper based onthe investigation of new generation migrant workers’ cultural needs; analyze the causes of thecurrent condition of spiritual life. Finally, I put forward the measures and the suggestions. The paper concludes four sections.Section1, I defined and distinguished the concept of farmers, migrant workers, the newgeneration of migrant workers. Although conclude their spiritual and cultural life. And the paper expounds the relevant theoretical basis.The second part,I use the method of statistics and questionnaire, analyzes the present situation of new generation peasant workers’ spiritual and cultural life: First, working time is too long, lead to leisure time is less than the spiritual and cultural time; Second, the spiritual and cultural life’ s consumption level is low; Third, the way of spiritual culture life is monotonous; Fourth, the lack of corporate culture facilities and project supply; Fifth, the situation of less supply on the government and community cultural facilities.The third part focuses on the reason of the new generation peasant workers lack of spiritual and cultural life. First, the important reason is caused by the system factors; the most fundamental is the household registration system and the relative lag of social security system.Second, material factors, such as migrant workers low wages, less supply of the social publiccultural facilities and so on. The third is the social factors. The restriction of the social prejudice and discrimination factors and so on. Finally, the new generation migrant workers own factors also restricted the spiritual and cultural life.The fourth part,I put forward the countermeasures to enrich and improve the new generation of migrant workers from four aspects:the first level is the government provide strong guarantee, including increasing the implementation of the household registration system reform pace, the more the better of the social security system, make the rule of improve the new generation peasant workers’ economic income, increase the investment of new generation migrantworkers cultural service facilities, establish and perfect the education training system and improve cultural market energetically.The second level is increase enterprise’s support of including standard labor time to strengthen the enterprise culture atmosphere and to carry out a variety of cultural services.The third part is to build a good social environment including giving full play to the advantages of social mainstream media propaganda, improve community serviceform, give full play to trade unions, highlight the communist youth league organizations.Thefourth part is to improve their comprehensive quality including scientific and cultural, professional, ideological and moral quality and strengthen their participation. I am so happy if the paper can give some effective suggestions to the city,which have thesimilar level of develepment with Xingtai.
