| By drawing upon his predecessors' experiences and lessons of reform and bearing in mind the ground realities in Russia, Vladimir Putin, since he came into power, has come up with a set of political philosophies that fit Russian society and the general public's mentality. These developments have ushered in a new phase of development based on rationality and rule of law with profound implications for the country's domestic and foreign policy agenda. This paper attempts to make an analysis of the impact of Putin's political philosophies on Russia's political party politics by citing some of the specific measures originating from his values. Based on that, the paper gives a prediction of the prospects of the country's party politics and offers suggestions on party-to-party interaction between China and Russia. |
