Suzhou Foreign Electronics Companies To Gather The Empirical Research

As more and more foreign direct investment (FDI) come into our country, in many regions of our country , FDI-driving industrial agglomeration are appearing. The case of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province shows, a great deal of FDI of electronic and telecommunications equipment industry come into Suzhou .In this paper, the author firstly studies FDI-driving electronic agglomeration of Suzhou, from the structure of the agglomeration and the influence that the agglomeration bring on economy of Suzhou. The research shows that the coordination between the enterprises of agglomeration is only a replication of the electronic industrial agglomeration of Taiwan Province. And so the electronic industrial agglomeration is independence to Suzhou. Because of this kind of independence, the electronic agglomeration only effects the development of third industry.In Chapter One, the paper mainly evaluates the research on regional economic development, industrial agglomeration and foreign direct investment. And then, in Chapter Two, the paper discusses the phenomenon of industrial agglomeration and the advantage of agglomeration, and distinguishes the two kind of different agglomeration. In Chapter Three, the author research the rule of FDI-driving agglomeration, and study the influence that the agglomeration bring on regional economy by multiplier principle and input and output theory. Then, Chapter Four research the structure of the electronic agglomeration in Suzhou, that include the pattern of FDI, the scale of the FDI enterprises, the source of FDI and the structure of the products of the agglomeration. Finally, the Chapter Five research the influence that the agglomeration brings on economy of Suzhou from quantity.
