| Finance, security and insurance are recognized as three important pillars for national economic construction. China has entered into WTO and will gradually cancel the protective insurance-related policies according to certain WTO regulations&rules, so that insurance sector will be confronted with violent challenges from foreign-funded insurance enterprises. The soon -coming insurance competition will focus upon human resources. In October of 2003, China State Council set down regulations on further development of human resources, and human resource strategy, as a basic national policy, has been playing a more and more important role. However, the case of highly increasing business but underqualified working group in the insurance field has not changed greatly up to now. The difficult problem is that the fewness of highly qualified working group will be bound to hold back insurance restainable development.The analysis of successful experience in human resource educating& training in enterprises home and broad comes to the conclusion that the laggard insurance-related human resource development in China is attributed to the following factors: the insurance managers' unadequate understanding of human resource educating&training project, the lack of scientific and strategic planning for human resource management and development, and no establishment of a very pertinent and practical educating&training system. All these factors lead to low efficiency in human resource development. To some extent, the tremendous introductions of foreign advanced theories on human resource development and modern educating&training technology have promoted China's human resource development, but there is still a long way to walk before the theories and technology are well combined with our country's situation until suitable educating&training patterns with Chinese characteristics are set up.The very article aims at the above-mentioned problems, and theauthor chooses one of Chinese leading insurance companies, i.e. China Life Insurance Corp. Ltd., as the original version for study. From the viewpoint of human resource strategic management, the author concentrates study upon how to establish human resource educating&training system and expects that the integration of composing factors in the educating & training system will greatly enhance the efficiency of human resource training and management so as to speed up the process of human resource educating&training in the insurance field. |
