Thinking, The Theory Of China's Food Security Issues

Stepping into the new century, we have to face the fact that in our country the food provided is more than needed, which has showed the feature of stage and structure. How to treat the security of food in China, how to construct the food security system in order to meet the need of well-to-do society, which have crucial theoretical significance, as well as practical ones.Based on the connotation and situation of the food security in China, we consider the problem of food security theoretically from the perspective of the development of economy and society, of the construction of the well-to-do society. The following five points are mentioned in this thesis:1.On the concept of the food security, we must uphold the spirits of developing and creating with each passing day, and realize the necessity of the notion change from the traditional security view to the modern security view.2.On the situation of the food security, we not only should accept the fact that food security level is much higher than before, but also should have a thorough reflection on the cost that we have paid.3.On the prospect of the food security, we should adhere the spirits of emancipating the mind, and seeking truth from facts. We should have the confidence that we can live on ourselves, we should also realize there are many disadvantages in food security. We must have strong consciousness of crisis.4.In the process of the development of the well-to-do society in the new century, we should move our standpoint to the protection and promotion of the food productivity comprehensively, when we choose the strategy in the development of the food security.5.In increasing the food security level in China in the new century, wemust seize the opportunity of the first 20 years in the 21st century, which is the most important strategic era on food security.
