With the coming of the economic globalization and the developing of information technology, SCM (Supply Chain Management) has grown into a mature pattern on enterprise managing and a successful enterprise strategy. Many enterprises in the same value-added chain make up a strategic alliance which can be managed integrated. SCM is a theory more than a practice in our country currently. Known the conditions and problems on the flowers and plants trade in Yunnan province, the writer wants to put SCM into practice on it, and make some strategies for the enterprises in the flowers and plants trade in Yunnan province and also some for the trade as a whole. By doing this, we hope that SCM turns from a theory to practice by and by. The article includes five parts except the preface. The first part introduces the theory of SCM, so as to make foundation for the second part. The second part makes out the situation in the flowers and plants trade in Yunnan province, then analyses the necessity and possibility of put SCM into it. The third part deals something that is connected with the forming of Supply Chain in the trade. In the fourth part, the practice of SCM in the trade is planned. Because the operation of SCM needs a good circumstance that can not appear without the works of the government, the fifth part brings out the concept of characteristic trade chain and tells what the government should do in the building of the SCM.
