Sino - Vietnamese Relations In The Perspective Of South China Sea Dispute

China and Vietnam are the two countries who have cherished the deep friendship and the same ideology.The friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries are in all ages. but recent years, the relations between the two countries presented a feature that it changes for the south China sea dispute. The maritime confront that happened In the middle of may 2014 made the bilateral relations to hit the bottom.It is the most severe crisis since the normalization of the bilateral relations,and it has affected the healthy development of the bilateral relations.Therefore, this article studies the bilateral relations from the perspective of the South China sea dispute, and give a outline to grasp the nature of the Sino-Vietnamese relations under the new circumstance and the future direction of this relations,which enventually have important practical significance and theoretical value to promote the bilateral relations and safeguard the regional peace and stability.This article applies the method of historical analysis and the case analysis.It investigate the development,effections,agents and the new traits of the intensified Sino-Vietnam south China sea dispute on the basis of a brief review of the Sino-Vietnam relations.The innovation of this article is to search for reasons and features of the bilateral ralations under the present south China sea disputes.The the disputes has internal and external factors,the United States are the main external factor,there present some new development and characteristics under the outer forces.Its characteristics mainly reflects in:First,Vietnam can neither give up maritime rights from the《United Nations Convention on the Law of the sea》 and will also not give up the dividends from China’s economic development.Second,though there are frictions between them on the south china sea disputes,Vietnam will not give up the dividends of China’s economic developmen,and will actively to take apart in the regional economic cooperation framework of China’s dominance.Third,Vietnam rely on the the Asia-Pacific rebalance strategy of United States to maintain its interests in the South China sea,at the same time,it won′t ally with the western countries.Fourth,the frictions between the two countries about the south China sea disputes will sometimes bring a series of relevent events,but the relations of the two countries will not be broken fundamentally,the two countries will continue to maintainfriendly relations in the process of resolving the disputes.The outline of this article is here.First chapter,through carding of archives,to briefly review the history of Sino-Vietnam elations,emphasis on sorting out the reasons and lessons from the bilateral relational history.In the second chapter,the paper descriped the new development of the Sino-Vietnam south China sea disputes and the effects it brings on the bilateral relations.The third chapter, using dialectical materialism thought,analysis the causes and characteristics of the fierce of the present South China sea disputes of the Sino-Vietnam.In the fourth chapter,according to the causes and characteristics mentioned above,I give some advices which is good for us to couple with Vietnam,and better manage the frictions between the two co-untries in the South China sea.
