The Bel Canto Folk Songs

From the conception of bel canto and fork song of Northern Shanxi Province, The thesis is aimed to trace back to historical origin and the character of bel canto, describe the form and style of fork song of Northern Shanxi Province from view of history and compare the similar and difference with each other. We also discussed the thought connotation and creation produced by the historical background, the common people and foundation, the difference of the range of theme between the two singing methods. From breath, sound production and resonance, the singing character and skill were compared in detail. We want to combine the two singing style, realize the musical value, improve the expressive force of music, clean up the misunderstanding of some persons, which are in order to provide the methods on how to improve the singing skill. For example, the fork song of Northern Shanxi Province mirrored the mixing resonance of bel canto, which prompted the combination of the skill of bel canto into fork song of Northern Shanxi Province in practice. On the basis of traditional singing method of fork song of Northern Shanxi Province, we want to take examples from western opera with purpose of developing more composers and singers of our nation, creating more works of national character and style and develop national character's fork song of Northern Shanxi Province. We hope this thesis will do a small contribution to our national vocal music.
