An Exploration Of Ethnic And Bel Canto Singing Styles

In the development of vocal music in recent decades,there has been a phenomenon of mutual opposition and unity between national singing and bel canto,and a topic that attracts people's attention is how to master the two different singing styles of national singing and bel canto as a vocal singer.Wu Bixia,a famous singer in China,is a coloratura soprano who combines Chinese national singing and western bel canto singing.She has a good grasp of both Chinese and foreign vocal music works,and is known as "the Nightingale of Chinese and Western combination".When she sings these two different styles of vocal music works,she has the ability of flexible control,which enlightens the author.Through the case analysis of Wu Bixia's two singing styles,this paper explores how she learns from and integrates the national and bel canto singing methods,and successfully grasps these two singing styles.So that in today's diversified development of society,the author can learn from the road of learning vocal music,enrich singing experience,broaden their own singing road.
