Polysyllabic Words. "confucius"

KONGZIJIAYU is a book mainly recorded the words and deeds done by Confucius and his disciples. This book has the research value of philosophy, literature, linguistics and other aspects, which was annotated by Wang Su in Wei Dynasty.The main content of this article is the polysyllabic words. Through the study of the polysyllabic words, I am sum up its type, characteristic and development trends. The paper divided into three parts:Introduction, the theory part and conclusion. I give a brief account of the significance, predecessors achievement and my own research ideas and methods in the introduction.The theory part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter determines criteria for judging the polysyllabic words. Based on the predecessors achievement, I analyze the polysyllabic words from the grammatical structure, vocabulary meaning, rhetorical features and frequency four aspects. The second chapter research the polysyllabic words form its type and word-building method and summarize its characteristic and development trends. The third chapter analyzes the disyllabic function words of the KONGZIJIAYUThe conclusion part is a summery of all the features of the polysyllabic words; its amount and manners of contraction, which reveal the tendency and direction of the polysyllabic words.
