Bashu Culture Li Jie In Novel Writing

In the modem literary,Li Jieren is a unique writer.In his early years,he created long historical novels,which were not paid attention to,until recent years they were rediscovered by some researchers.Being born and living in Sichuan,he has deep love for this place and devoted his whole life to writing about modem history of Sichuan.He voluntarily accepted the norm of Bashu culture,forming unique characteristics and aesthetic creation.In his works,they display strong and clear regional cultural awareness. Such as his works Si shui wei lan,Bao feng yu qian and Da bo are not only the history of political movement,but a generous historical local conditions and customs of Sichuan, and the typical regional culture.It will help us to understand the deep connection of regional culture and literary,and locate the position of Li Jieren,who has long been neglected in history.This article has five parts.The introduction part is about researches today and problems existed.The first chapter explains two questions.It makes clear basic features and introduces about culture background of Li Jieren's growing,analyzing the relation between Li Jieren and Bashu culture,revealing why he falls in love with Bashu culture of his works.The second chapter concretely explains Bashu culture of his works.It has three sub-chapters,discussing the cultural reading of the battle between people of power in his works.This article also analyzes the behaviors and causes of sexy and shrewish women of Sichuan,the local conditions and customs,and vivid description.The third chapter mainly compares with three other writers of Sichuan to show his special writing style.Guo Moruo and Li Jieren accepted in spirit Sichuan cultural Romanticism and the tradition of Realism, showing different features.Ba Jin and Li Jieren separately chose rebellion and pragmatic attitudes to mould intellectual,and each made different contribution.Sha Ting and Li Jieren stress the showing of local conditions and customs of Sichuan,but chose the attitude of criticism and love differently.The conclusion is that the culture of Bashu help Li Jieren,however,being to persisted to a regional culture will bring a pity instead.No matter successful or not,he and his works should be paid enough attention to the researchers.
