Solzhenitsyn Early Creation And Ideological Characteristics

Solzhenitsyn, as The Nobel Literature Prize winner in 1970,is absolutely one of the most remarkable Russian writers of the 20th century. However, in the history due to the political and ideological factors, most of the comments on him and his works were made from the political perspective view.His works can be divided into two periods: the first from 1918 to 1974 and the second from 1974 to 2008.The works in the first period is regarded as successful with the typical characteristics of his compositions.The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part introduces the two periods of his early compositions chronologically. First, the author investigates the development of his compositions from the preparation, the commencement to the mature so as to offer a comprehensive development process of his compositions.The second part introduces Solzhenitsyn's early creativity thinking features and characteristics from three aspects: the religious sense, humanitarian, and moral beliefs. First of all, Solzhenitsyn develops well the influence of Christianity in the culture with a strong psychological sense of religion.The second part shows the humanitarian in Solzhenitsyn's early works which occupy a prominent position. His early works are full of human brilliance. Again, Solzhenitsyn's early creativity is clearly reflected the truth in the life, the pursuit of literary truth and integrity, showing him as a writer of great moral courage.The third part explores the relationship between the compositions of his early period and the Russian culture.Solzhenitsyn was deeply influenced by Russian traditional culture from his ideological construction, life attitude and literature creation. His early creation was full of consideration of Russian's deep suffering and love of mother Russian.
