Haruki Murakami is a famous Japanese contemporary writer. Since 1979, just when he started to write, his works has been welcomed by readers. His works have been translated into Chinese, English, German, Italian, Dutch and Korean and which are widely spreading in the world. A "phenomenon of Haruki Murakami" even started by the works. His major novels have been sold in Japan more than 10 million. By Pure literature increasingly depressed in today's Japan, there have been appeared "the phenomenon of the Norwegian Wood " and "the phenomenon of Haruki Murakami" which surprised the literary world. Throughout its trauma, most of his works is almost inseparable with music. Focusing on two aspects both of the content and form, this paper does research on the melodious style of Haruki Murakami's novels, and even the relations hip between literature and music based on this fundament.The first chapter: Mainly to introduce Haruki Murakami himself and his writing condition. Haruki Murakami was born in the city Xijing Fushimi area in Japan in January 12, 1949.He impressed deeply by foreign literature and music from an early age. Looking at all of his creation, by the 1994 to 1995's "qi niao xing zhuang lu" as the cut-off point, his novels can be divided into two phases. At the same time, he was also involved in the translation business, he have been translated Truman' Capote', Fitzgerald', John Updike' and Raymond Chandler' novels and so on.The second chapter: Mainly to discuss the melodious style of Haruki Murakami's novels. Thesis pointed out that Haruki Murakami usually borrows some artistic methods to highlight the performance of narrative text. Haruki Murakami combined both music and narrative naturally to make music become a necessary part of a novel. He also simulates the structure of music to create with the methods of composition, and by which the novel becomes a music works from the aspect of its structure.It can be seen that Haruki Murakami's works are not only full filled with jazz-based musical description, but also the format of description looks like the stream flowing naturally from the riverbed of the music. Thus his works is worthy of the name "the echo of Jazz Age ".The third chapter: It mainly describes the fascination of Haruki Murakami's novel. Paper analyses from surface to deep. From surface, the music as background of Haruki Murakami novels, together with the musical description, is immersed the reader in the reading of intoxication. From deep point, his novel contains a musical spirit. To Haruki Murakami and the dramatis personae in his novel, people will not feel lonely if they have music. It's not only an enjoyment of beauty, but also an emotional nurturing, even one's spirit conversion and spiritual salvation.The fourth chapter: We trace to where the melodious style of Haruki Murakami's novel originally from. Haruki Murakami learned a lot about the content and structure from the music, for which the reason is complex. He was influenced by the historical background, personal life experiences and the traditional way to write. To himself, he is a novelist with a musical inclination. Haruki Murakami was his father's only son, so in the absence of brothers and sisters grew up with, he formed his own habit of reading and listening to music. he is a very westernized writers, by the deep influence of European and American culture from an early age, he read "World Literature" and "the history of the world" in senior school. At the same time, Haruki Murakami has a high musicianship, his like not only Europe and America music like a modern pop music and classical music, but also Piano Concerto, Violin Concerto. The natural outpouring of his personal feelings is a wonderful combination of literature and music in a certain degree.Finally, the paper is deepen the research the relationship between music and literature, and discussed the relative relationship between music and literature. It argues the function of music in literature at the same time.The influence of music to Haruki Murakami's writing inspires us that although music and novel belongs to different categories, the influences between them to benefit by association together. It's quite clear that the combination of tactics is worth to learn and carry forward.
