The fieldwork in design teaching appears extremely important in the whole teaching activity. However, while the design teaching is fast developing in our country, the fieldwork teaching is neglected, sometimes oversimplified and sometimes exists in name only. All in all, there are still many problems waiting for solving. Focused on the fieldwork of the artistic design specialty in Chinese colleges and universities, this thesis begins with analysis and reasoning of the design course arrangements and cultivation objective and reveals that the practicing course arrangement in the artistic design specialty in our country is unreasonable and that the practicing courses are insufficient and that the practice deviates from the specialty. All these will finally bring about many problems such as students' lack of practicing ability and adaptation. Then the author analyzed these problems from the historical and realistic reasons and offered some constructive suggestions that design teaching should firstly focus on the training of students' innovative thinking ability and the contents of fieldwork teaching should be reformed and keep up with the times. |
