Revolution of 1911 for China's modern history, society was multifaceted and multi-level. On ethnic relations, it is the watershed development of relations between China's modern national. This historic changes, is also reflection of changes in the domestic regional ethnic relations. Yunnan Province in southwest China is the most important one of the regions border ethnic. Revolution period of the development of ethnic relations in the region is characterized by the evolution of the entire domestic ethnic relations at the time the development and changes in the typical performance. As some researchers pointed out," Yunnan is the homeland of a microcosm of many great families of nationalities, and is also a microcosm of a multi-ethnic homeland frontier region. Yunnan's ethnic problem in the country has a typical and representative." Therefore, Study the basic characteristics and trend of the pattern of ethnic relations during this period in Yunnan, and summing up the lessons of history, undoubtedly has important practical significance and value of academic theory.This paper has six parts. At the same time in the preface of introduction of the relevant research results, This article puts forward the main research methods, ideas, and its main opinion. The first chapter mainly studies on the Revolution during the historical development of society in Yunnan. The second and third chapter mainly study struggle under the banner of the democratic revolution, which People of all ethnic groups resist against foreign aggression and the Qing Government of feudal autocratic rule in Yunnan, and Efforts to explore the road of modern nation-state construction. This is the main content of Yunnan Ethnic Relations at the time. The fourth chapter mainly studies bureaucratization naturalized flow at the revolution of 1911 in Yunnan. It only changed way of the governance, but not changed the exploited and oppressed status of people. The final chapter mainly analyzes features of Yunnan ethnic relations in revolution of 1911.There are four aspects. First, People of all ethnic groups unite, and fight against external aggression together, and safeguard national unity and sovereignty. Second, under the national identity of the "Republic of China", it tries to build national identity of the region in Yunnan. Third, National political developed rapidly in Yunnan, and the sense of democracy of people of all ethnic groups is growing rapidly. Fourth, contact and interactive is gradually close among ethnic groups.
