In this paper,the Green Landscape painting in the new period of China is my basic research object,and the time is from 1978 to 1998.Basing on the clue of time,at the time of comprehensively talking about the development of the Green landscape painting in the second half of the 20th century,the paper focuses on the study of traditional artists,such as He Haixia,Xiao Jianchu and Pan Su etc.At the specially historical period of social transformation in China,they keep the excellent traditions of most ancient outstanding works and aimed at refinements of traditions.At the same time,they should receive affirmative and fair evaluations for their exploratory and groundbreaking efforts in terms of the modern transformations in the Green landscape painting.Through the appropriately periodic discusing,the interpreting and aesthetical analyzing of art works of the painters in the aspects of the Green Landscape painting in this period,the purposes would be to sum up the characteristics of their creative works,to understand their artistic ideas,to find roots of their ideas.Furthermore,I just want to explore the trend of the Green landscape painting's transformation from the traditional mode to the modern mode in this period,and then analyze the embarrassments,confusion and their thinking and efforts of which the traditional painters suffered from when they collide with the Times,it mainly reveal the relationships between the themes of painting of painters in 20th century and their artistic achievements,art life and even political life.The aims of this paper focus on calling on the pertinent evaluations and impartially historical positions of which these traditional artists should get from all of the society,and at the same time revealing the positive effects of which the Green Landscape painting has on the contemporary society,at last arousing the great importance to creating and research of the Green landscape painting from the community and researchers.
