With the inheritance and development of Tibetan culture for thousands of years, Thangka arts industry has also grown. Many scholars are loved and began studying Thangka painting. Study of Thangka painting found Thangka and blue-green landscape painting have many similarities.Through the three-year master’s study of the Tangka and four years of undergraduate study of traditional Chinese painting, combined with similar Thangka School of Karma-sargbris are compared with the blue-green landscape painting, listing and analysis of the similarities. Combination of Mian Tang Thangka painting characteristics and Karmasargbris painting characteristics, joined the Chinese exquisite brush technique of the blue-green landscape painting while respecting the traditional Thangka painting techniques and features promote a small scale innovation.Chapter one introduces overview and origin of Karma-sargbris and blue-green landscape painting. Karma-sargbris and blue-green landscape painting are analyzed on the tools( brushes, canvas and paint) and techniques( Composition, line and dye) in Chapter two.Combines techniques and tools of Mian Tang School Thangka, Karma-sargbris,and blue-green landscape painting,initial innovation of the creative process in Chapter three.
