Lek Powder Technique In Chinese Painting, Contemporary Development Study

In recent years, the LiFen technique and contemporary works that expand the scope of the LiFen technique frequently appear in Chinese painting and in large-scale exhibitions in China. The traditional LiFen technique is applied and developed in modern Chinese painting. The LiFen technique is a kind of traditional Chinese painting technique that is widely used in architectural art paintings, murals, Tangka, Chatham arts and other fields. The document that describes LiFen skills is rich, but few of them discuss their expansion in modern Chinese painting, and no one has ever sorted out and classified those skills in contemporary Chinese painting. In this study, the researcher tries to do some in-depth analyses by collecting relevant literature, studying on contemporary state-level Chinese painting exhibitions, interviewing artists, and collecting representative examples.This study is divided into three parts:Part One is the Introduction that provieds the reason for chosing this subject, the significance of this research, as well as the definition of related concepts.Part Two describes the background of contemporary expansion of LiFen skills. It also discusses the two major reasons why LiFen skills expand. One is the reason why LiFen skills expand from other fields to Chinese painting. The other reason is why LiFen skills in Chinese painting itself expand in contemporary times.Part Three analyzes and discusses the expansion of LiFen skills in contemporary Chinese painting, through image analysis, document analysis, comparative study and other means. It especially studies the expansion of LiFen skills in contemporary Chinese painting at the aspects of tools, materials, etc. it finds that the LiFen techniques, as a kind of artistic language, appear unique and creative in Chinese painting.The conclusion of this study is that the LiFen skills attract more and more attension with their expansion in contemporary Chinese painting. The LiFen technique plays an important role in the transformation process of modern Chinese painting. The author hopes that this study can play a positive role in the transmission and development of Chinese painting, and can show some insight in the evolution of the contemporary paintings in the history of Chinese painting.
