Garden In The Tang Dynasty Novel Study

There have been many works and papers to study novels of Tang Dynasty,so is garden and parks of Tang Dynasty.whereas ,it is haradly to find out the stdudy fruits which emphasize on the intersection point of both novel and gardern.The author just from this point to collect,classify the garden materials in novels of Tang Dynasty and sum up the characteristics of different types of gardens.Furthermore,the author also pays same attention on the novels which involved in gardens,study the relationship between the relative elements of this kind of novel and garden,except to promote the literature study of Tang Dynasty from these two aspects.This paper includes seven parts.The first part is the introduction which sets a limit to the notion of garden in Tang Dynasty,the time span of Tang Dynasty and the material scope of novels in Tang Dynasty.The second part bases on the novels involed in garden,using the concept of space,narrative perspective ,beginning with the realistic relation of novel and the place choosing of garden,the brief narration of novel and the garden depiction ,the creative concept narration of novel and the atomosphere creation of garden. The third part chooses three royal gardens to summerise the characteristics of the royal gardern. The fourth part discusses the private garden, emphasizes on the intellects' lives in the garden and the characteristics of their garden. The five part is the garden of the Buddhism and the Taoism, summerises the features ,the social and cultural functions of this kind of garden . The sixth part is the public garden QuJiang in Tang Dynasty, emphasizes on the relationship among QuJiang and people in Tang Dynasty,especially JinShi in Tang Dynasty and the rise and fall of Tang Dynasty. The last part includes two appendixes, one is the list of the novels in Tang Dynasty that the author had collected,the other is the geographical location of these gardens.
