| About 2003,"Go for it!", the textbook for Grade 7-9, which is designed according to the spirit of"New Curriculum Criteria for English Subject (trial edition)"began to be put on trial in 38 towns and cities around China. 4 years past, the trial shows some problems. Although there are many discussions, good researches on it are seldom.Based on mass document research and practice, this paper firstly probes into problems of"Go for it!"instruction. Then, this paper introduces"Knowledge Taxonomy and Goal-oriented Education Theory", which is created by Professor Pi Liansheng and Shao Ruizhen, and analyzes its relationship with English education nowadays. Thirdly, based on the theory above and Jane Willis'3-step task-based education model, this paper brings up a new model for language education. At last, with this model, this paper does some instructional design work, and tests its effectiveness by a pilot experiment and some interviews.This research provides an example for teachers and researchers. |
