As the saying goes: What is the soul are what the gods.Folk belief is an important breakthrough to study local society and its folk culture.The Gan-nan society which is comparatively far away from governing centre has provided thick soil to folk belief for propagating and infestation.Since TANG and Song Dynasty,esceptionally and become a major feature .Furthermore folk belief is to take various gods as carrier.Based on the study of the regional deity–The Han Emperor,through belief in The Han Emperor,the article aim at exploring local society development and social change,relations between folk belief and local society.Based on the description of belief in The Han Emperor ,and to explore the source of the belief in The Han Emperor, and analyses the prevalence of reasons.From a historical context, dynamic and restore faith in the Handi Hakka region and the Hakka community interaction. The article maintains that the gods are Handi indigenous gods, is in the process of the Hakka ethnic group, the number of indigenous gods such as Lingyun mountain god to seek a so-called legitimate status and the name of Han Gao Zu the name of Liu Bang.The article also a few cases of Handi belief that the Handi belief systems and traditional villages are the basic governance system in line. Handi gods is to maintain the spirit of inter-clan ties.
