Yongzheng In The Early Years Clique Problem

The clique mainly points to those opposite political circles or interest groups which take shape because of different political background and economic interest. Clique is not only the product of power struggle inside of the ruling class, but also the derivation of the feudalism. On the whole, the clique makes official become corrupt and degenerate, aggravates the contradiction inside of the ruling class, brakes the stability of political and economic affairs and hinders the development of the productive forces.On the basis of collecting relevant references, the author does some researches on the imperial clan clique, bureaucrat clique and clique which was composed of intellectual in imperial examination. The author analyzes the reasons of the above three cliques' appearance and how they were punished by Yongzheng emperor. According to analysis, author summarizes the substance and fundamental purpose of the struggle between Yongzheng emperor and the clique. At last, the author does some comments on measures which were taken by Yongzheng to punish the clique and gives his own opinion.
