Cai Yong was one of the medieval writers who mastered the literary scene at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. "Kum parade" writen by him is treated coldly because of the author and the writing time has been on controversial . However, as China's earliest existing notes to Kum ,it has great research value. From the perspective of literature, I have a research on the author, the versions and the causes of "Qin parade". On this basis, I have a inspection and orgnization on the original stories on "Qin Cao" and have a preliminary discussion on the literary value and significance of it. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into three parts.In the first part, I have a inspection on the author, the versions and the causes of it. Study into the existing sayings I believe that "Qin parade" was compiled by Cai Yong at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, "Qin Cao," it is the companied effects of the downward movement of the culture of music ,the upgrading status of Qin and Cai Yong's Confucian thoughts and his musical talents and his bumpy Official career."Kum parade" has six versions of, By comparision we found that the differences among the six versions in the outlines,the notes the use of the words.In the second part, I have a inspection on the original stories and lyrics of "Qin Cao"include the five poems, the twelve parades, the nine primers and the twenty song of HEJIAN AREAR. Do the original stories have something s to depend on or created by virtue?When the original stories and lyrics are firstly been seen?when the lyrics are firstly been seen and been cited after "Kum parade ".Through the inspection of the original stories and lyrics will help us to make sure the author and the writing time of "Kum parade" and explore the literary status and value of it.In the third part, the literature value and art achievement of "Kum parade" .The book is not a simple list of materials, the preparation of the structure and the choice of materials reflects the author's aesthetic ideology. "Kum parade" preserve many folk stories .some of the stories demanstrate very sucessful narative skills which have a far impression on later literatures .As the originator of Kum poetry of YUEFU, "Qin Cao" generates the basic framework of Kum poetry.
