There ware much dispute over Wu wenying's ci in the history of Chinese ci-poetry that indicated the unique style and value on art of his ci. Concentrating on the techniques of Fu in Mengchuang's ci, this paper studies the characteristic of his ci-poetry.Chapter one. The characteristic on structure of Mengchuang's ciIt was Liu Yong who the first port used techniques of Fu to write Manci. This style of writing went through the whole development process of Manci. Wu wenying was one of the most important poets in the process. He didn't arranged his ci in logical way as the earlier poets did, but kept threads of sensibility in it. Moreover, there was much philosophy in Mengchuang's ci, by which made the structure more complex.Chapter two. The characteristic on depiction of things of Mengchuang's ciChanting things was an important content of Fu, so it was of Manci which was written by using techniques of Fu. The depiction of things in Mengchuang's ci was not for presenting the things but for expressing the sensibility of the poet himself. Mengchuang's ci written out of chanting things was not only by using techniques of Fu, but also by using techniques of Bi-Xing.Chapter three. The characteristic on ornate diction of Mengchuang's ciThe ornate words in Mengchuang's ci had the intention of metaphor as well as ornament. The analysis of Mengchuang's ci revealed that the story in his ci implied the poet's inner sense.Chapter four. The characteristic on model of sentences of Mengchuang's ciThere was two kinds of models in writing the sentences of Mengchuang's ci. One was that the four-words sentences contained literary quotationes in most cases. The other was that the sentences which had the rhyming word in the ends described a landscape by using techniques of Bi-Xing.
