Qi Yun Tai Su Gong Zhen Wu Statues, Historical Issues Inference

By combining relevant statues and documentary material,the thesis has a special study on the Statue Zhenwu in the Taisu Taoist Temple,which is the major supernatural being worshipped by Mountain Qiyun,one of the four most well-known Taoist Mountains.This thesis discusses that the gradual Zhenwu worship in the Song ,Yuan and Ming Dynasties has a key and profound influence on the Mountain Qiyun'development in Taoism and statues making .It also pays attention to the possible answer of the Statue's modelling,color and making.Through serious writing, the writer has her conclusions that the Statue Zhenwu in the Taisu Taoist Temple is a good reflection of the times and the culture of Zhenwu and Taoist statues and it has an indispensable act on the unique image of Mountain Qiyun.
