Based On The Smart Phone Of The Olympic English Learning Software Research And Development

With the rapid development of economic society in our country and increasing frequency of international communication, especially as the 29th Beijing Olympic Games' approaching, there was an upsurge of English study. Based on mobile learning idea and according to adult learning characteristic and English learning demand, this article designs and develops a mobile phone English learning software system for adult Olympic English learners. The system based on absorbing other English study software experiences, it also combines mobile technology ability and characteristics to enrich and extend Olympic English learning by all people methods and measures by any moment, any location, high efficiency and interactive English study form.First, the article starts from the background of this topic. Through carrying on research about related theories and characteristics on mobile phone learning, analyze the suitable objects and scopes of mobile learning; carry on feasibility research of Olympic Games English study on mobile phone learning application. The article discusses design idea, key technology of development and module design of this software system based on analyzing mobile English learning background and significance. According to the software systems engineering theory, the system carries on the design and development comprehensively. First, starting from system structure choice, it chooses suitable mobile learning system framework and operation mode; Then, Net Framework platform is used for foreground, combining embedded database SQL CE2.0, intelligent synchronization both in foreground and background and updating technology; WAP2.0; full-text searching technology (Lucence) in background; Struts, Spring, Hibernate, relational database, According to guiding ideology of agile development and design pattern of component system, carry on system application design and development. Mobile English learning modules have been realized: Word study, words and phrases study, article reading, scene conversation, my word storehouse, on-line discussion and on-line renewal function module. Finally, all modules can be realized its function s through testing on mobile phone.As an assistant tool for adults to study English in spare time, learning content of this software system are brief and concise, like "daily English" with study form of high time effect and short content. It puts great effort to focus on improving learner's study efficiency and enable them reach double result with half work. With the development of mobile communication technology, network technology and intellectualized development of mobile phone, mobile phone English learning will be step into a new phase.
