Community Of The Ancient Greek World Democratic Politics, And Slavery

This paper mainly studies the relationship between the democracy and slavery of the ancient Greek city-state in a way of the theory of political community. Democracy as a political values and political system of operation has been universally recognized, and the wave of democratization is rolling up around the world, but it is a pity that the values and the practice of democracy which is dominant mode by the Western democracy country. Ancient Greek city-state democracy as the source of Western democracy, It is a key to our understanding of Western democratic politics in further, and especially for our understanding of the relationship between the slavery and the establishment of democracy of the West, and which is paradox that the phenomenon of the slavery is accompanied by the development of democracy in the history is of great significance to our understandings of the western democracy. History has proved that the democratic politics and the slavery is indivisibility in Athens of ancient Greece, and even it is a complementary relationship between the two, but what is a relationship in the end? It is a history of political problem.The author here will be mainly from the perspective of the Community to study the democratic politics and the slavery in a way of the history and the logic of the city of Athens Community, and even in a way of the relationship between reality and theory on the interpretation to further understand the essence of Western democracy which put forward their own views.The paper is mainly composed by three parts:The first part of this paper is to study the concepts of the community and the political community in a way of rational inspection, and for the purpose of theoretical preparations for the understanding the relationship between Athens democracy and slaveryThe second part is the author mainly based on the theory of the community, and on the formation of the community of Athens city, and even on the development of reality in Athens city-state to further understanding the relationship between democracy and the slavery in Athens on the background The third part is the main thrust of this papers, it mainly studies the ancient Greek city of Athens Community in the democratic politics of slavery and to explain the conditions of the relationship between reality and theory. And the author further revealed Athens democratic form of slavery is the dual system of the linkage mechanism. All above, we could understand the essence of Western democracy further, and it puts forward its own views for building China socialism democratic politics with Chinese characteristics to learn from the West in its own humble way.
