Qingzhu is on of the most important musical aestheticianin our modern musical history. His Yuehua and Yinyuetonglun are the two monographs which concern the musical aesthetic problems such as the essence, the function and the practice of the music. Meanwhile he created the art song just as dajiang dongqu and wozhu changjiangtou and so on.This thesis use the way of the unification between the theory and the practice, the history and the logic to dissertate Qingzhu's musical aesthetic thoughts from the identity, the pertinence and the contradiction in his paper. There are several opinions in theory:1,Give the translation of the most important proposition of Shangjie in Qingzhu's musical esthetic thoughts.Point out the contradiction between the concept of shangjie and neijie in Qingzhu's paper. Then educe the connotation of shangjie, which is the higher aesthetic level in the potential inspirit and can be exploited and represented by music.2,Bring forward that Qingzhu is not an expert of art for art's sake.The paper point out that Qingzhu bring forward the freedom arts against the service arts but not art for art' s sake from his theory's pertinence.3,Divide the research of Qingzhu's musical esthetic thoughts for three phase and research it in historiography. recognition about the humanism, which is one of the cognition of the foundation of Qingzhu's musical esthetic thoughts now in musical theory research.
