At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic, Kuang Zhouyiwas am important Ci-poet. His Ci-poetry was the true record of his spiritualexperiences in an extraordinary situation. His Ci-poetry was quite specialcharacteristics in the history of the traditional Ci-poems. Thus his Ci-poetry wasunique status and value in the history of Ci-poems.The paper is divided into four parts. The paper tries to research Kuang Zhouyi'experiences and his writings and his Ci-poetics and his surviving adherent'mentality.The first chapter presents us an introduction to Kuang Zhouyi, including hisexperiences and writings. And this thesis explores the year of birth of Kuang Zhouyiand his father in our country.The second chapter mainly focuses on the Ci theory which was embodied in theCi Works and the Ci theory how to apply to the Ci works in practice. Kuang Zhouyi'sCi theory which was in the Ci works were respecting Ci and the natural rhythm ofCi-poetry. Kuang Zhouyi showed his view on the prefaces and epilogues of the Cicollection and the Ci works. Sometimes Kuang Zhouyi's Ci theory was consistentwith his Ci works. Sometimes Kuang Zhouyi's Ci theory was in contradiction with hisCi works. But the theory maturates gradually on Ci writing.The third chapter discusses Kuang Zhouyi's Ci works. The content of KuangZhouyi's Ci works mostly included lament and missing his country. He did not meetthe wise emperor was one typical kind of his Ci works content. Artistic style of his Ciworks change a lot his whole life. And his Ci works had different characters. In thegeneral, There was elegant and gracious in the earlier stage and profound in the laterstage. Extravagance is his Ci works style. Duan Mucai and Wang Pengyun and ZhuZumou influenced his Ci style.The fourth chapter focuses on Kuang Zhouyi's culture choice at the end of theQing Dynasty. Kuang Zhouyi could not accommodate himself to the new environment. He felt uneasy and worriment about the future most time, moreover, he can not get ridof mental suffering because of the culture shock. Kuang Zhouyi'Ci works show hisheart of an adherent of the Qing Dynasty. So to speak, his Ci works not only hadpolitical attitudes and positions but also the expression of a particular culture.
