From The Aesthetics Of Calvino's Novel Palomar Creation

At the opening on the Norton Lecture, Calvino remarked":I do believe in the future of literature ,because I know that something can only be offered by literature with the special way of itself."In his speech, Calvino commended the five literature qualities and styles, which were"lightness","quickness","exactitude","visibility","multiplicity"as his ideal. And this five special characters of literaure had been dripping unfolded in his last novel Mr.Palomar.Mr.Palomar and Calvino's fiction aesthetics are interlinked each other, similar to body both sides relations. Calvino's in-depth worldview is the support to them. This thesis tries to analyze the essence of Mr.Palomar and fiction aesthetics through Calvino's worldview.In chapter 1,the topic is about"atom theory"and"identity",and through the discussion of them to analyze Mr.Palomar and fiction aesthetics; In chapter2,it mainly explains the'quickness'and carries over the concept about concentration and time zero; In chapter3, the topic is about"visibility"and discusses novel possible question.Chapter 4 mainly involves the Cavino's'small view'as well as the pursue of'the order'; As to the last chapter , the writer will discuss about"multiplicity". And draws out the discussion about the novel becomes"the world map", as well as implementation in Mr.Palomar.Through the aspect discussed above , the writer wants to analyze Calvnio's fiction aesthetics as well as Mr.Palomar, thus overcame domestic and foreign formerly to it research oversight.
