The Significance Of Calvino's Postmordern Fiction

Italian novelist Calvino (Italo Calvino, 1923 -1985) is recognized as the world's most influential contemporary novelist, during his writing-time, he commitmented to the novel theory of innovation and exploration, he was notable with his work's unique and variability. At the same time, Calvino also had great interest and confidence on literary theory. Secondly, this paper will study the modern people how to controlled with the modern economy, the culture how to infiltrated by transnational corporations and, in turn, promote a culture of economic, security and political facts.Finally, this paper will study the culture confiscated by post-modern politics, and the main reasons of the intellectuals collective aphonia in the post-modern context, for the " If on a Winter's Night, a Traveler" as the text of the research base.Through the above analysis, this article will unfold a comprehensive Calvino to readers, stripped off the magnificent form of his texts, give the purpose that why he took these forms, point out that he should be look as a thinker first to get everyone's attention, and thus attempt to export the post-modern novel's subvertion to the role of post-modern society, and the fact of ruling class impose the post-modern thought.Finally this paper come to its conclusion: post-modern novel with unique form of post-modern text, made direct criticism on social problems and expose all the lies of the bourgeois, these texts will be disseminated with the globalization of information to make its impact with post-modern society, and with the rising of educational level, in the use of culture weapons that the proletarian are likely to eventually to be a new political force.
