End Of Han Prose Writing And The Psychology Of The Scholars Research

The trend of thought in philosophy, literary creation and scholars'psychology were influenced by the tremendous social changes in the last stage of Eastern Han Dynasty, especially around Jian An times. Scholars have learned a lot on the changes of philosophy and poetry, but hadn't pay enough attention to the prose of the times. Their studying works only simply concluded the features of prose into critique, which isn't very accurate. In addition, scholars'psychology was changed with changes of literary works. If understand the latter changes, we will know better about the former, and the understanding of the former is the most valuable and direct materials to understand the later.In view of above reasons, the thesis attempts to study the prose composition and scholars'psychology, and tries to outline their changing traces around Jian An times, then reveals how the scholars'psychology influenced the styles and subjects of prose creation.The prodromes gives an account of background in the times and classification of proses, which lays foundation for the following discussion. Chapter one: this part describes the general compositive situation of official documents and the psychology of scholars who were executive authorities which indicated from the situation.Chapter two and three: the part mainly probes into the psychology and creation of those scholars who were status seekers but met with failure or living in seclusion to save from dangers. Some of them indicated their mind by writings, some retried from society but never forgot the affairs of human life; some are bewailed and didn't know what to do. From the analysis about the"Works on philosophy"in chapter two and letters in chapter three, this part tries to give a brief description of scholars'psychology.Chapter four: this part discusses the prose composition and scholars'psychology in Jian An times. The objects are the compositive success of Three Caos and Seven literary giants in Jian An times. The thesis analyzes the psychology of scholars who were drifted apart Han count through the inspection into their works.Conclusion: synthesized the former studying, taken the first year in Jian An as separation, this part compares and induces the prose creation and scholars'psychology before the year with after this year, so as to research the influence of the latter change on the evolution of the former and the common changing traces.
