Recently, the body writing has gradually become important in the area of the literary creation and criticism. Unified with female writers , the body writing obtained its own development and new meanings with the feminine consciousness . Taking those into consideration , this thesis has made a redefinition about the present body writing , in order to understand its three-fold meanings ,including body as the writing object , as the tools for self-expression and as the nature of the life experience .Based on those three-fold meanings, the thesis accordingly selected three kinds of female writers for future analysis in to understand their breakthrough and contribution , and point out the direction . Here tries to demonstrate the body writing's significance to feminine being , and the degeneration of body writing was caused by female and the society .In the first chapter , it introduces the background of female body writing in China . The"body"was from repression to prominence , then entered into literature , and was combined with feminine consciousness at last . In this process , the description of the physical beauty and sexual relations in our traditional literary works are introduced emphatically for their direct relation with body writing . The description of physical beauty and sexual relations are both thought as the first stage and starting-point of body writing . The second chapter deals with Can Xue's body writing . Through analyzing body writing in Can Xue's works , this chapter would give the idea that Can Xue's body writing takes the body as the object , but her works also expresses her comment on social life through the body writing . So Can Xue's body writing contains two dimensions of body writing . This chapter also explained the value of the physical ugliness from the aesthic aspect .The third chapter analyzes the body writing of Lin Bai's and Chen Ran's in their personalized writing .The body writing of Lin Bai's and Chen Ran's contain the narcissistic body , the heterosexuality and the homosexuality .Their body writing is the method to express their growth of feminine mind and the lives , also the transmission of their thoughts , and also the nature writing which has integrated their lives experience . So the body writing of Lin Bai's and Chen Ran's have penetrated the last two dimensions of the body writing , as the huge breakthrough to the traditional body writing . At the same time , this chapter emphatically talks about the reason why Lin Bai and Chen Ran express their experience through body writing from feminine aspect , is they want to revolt the male and make the feminine body belong to themselves .The fourth chapter talks about the body writing of Wei Hui's and Mian Mian's works . This chapter mainly focus on Wei Hui and Mian Mian as example to analyze the extreme body writing of present feminine writing, which is the description of sex . This chapter tries to analyze the reason of the phenomenon that there are so many writing about sex in Wei Hui's and Mian Mian's works from three aspects which are the characteristics of the writing of sex in Wei Hui's and Mian Mian's works , the literature changing ,and the social culture . By this analyzing ,a conclusion can be reached that the body writing of Wei Hui's and Mian Mian's is backing away to first dimension from the third dimension and makes feminine body degenerate into the object , although their original intention of the sexual description is to find the nature of body , and make a breakthrough of the body writing in feminine writing .
