Resume: The main pattern and basis of domestic solfeggio teaching, up to now, have mostly imitated Western Europe--Soviet Union teaching system, which pays great attention to the cognition of various essential music factors and the practice of skills. Meanwhile, in the domain of theoretical study, the focus of teaching is on the pedagog' s perspective, aiming at practical classroom teaching methods, seeking for the appropriate teaching theory. However, the situation today is different. Multicultural communication develops, economic environment gradually to the international market, cultural exchange between various nationalities in the world frequently. Therefore, facing the Chinese culture which is composed by so many nationalities, we must make certain improvement to the present teaching as well as the fundamental research, in line with taking students as the center, that is, turning the focus onto students, discussing how to develop teaching methods and perfect the subject. Thus, modern solfeggio teaching ideas should be taken into consideration in the teaching process, namely the national, cultural, and social solfeggio teaching idea. This idea should be gradually, which complies with the need of the development of modern music education. To be specific, the national solfeggio teaching is the one that conforms to the hearing custom and the esthetic tendency of different nationalities, which focuses on training the hearing of the minority students; the cultural solfeggio teaching aims at developing both Chinese culture and music, which can basically combine Chinese traditional culture and music; and the social solfeggio teaching strives to enhance populace's music accomplishment in the social scope, establish correct music values and the aesthetic standard formation, and develop positively the music activities in the whole society. In establishing this teaching idea, we should also adapt the knowledge structure, educational model and the course content of the solfeggio, and propose a higher request to teachers, in order to guarantee the solfeggio discipline develops positively, meeting the need of the development of modern music and culture inheritance.
