Since resurfaced in 1979, Wang Meng has been a leading role in the new age's Chinese literary world for a very long period. His novels always gain a good reputation in the literary world by their abundance content and innovative form.The novel, Qing Hu, is another important work of Wang Meng in the new century. It manifested the writer's new attention to the intellectuals' problems. And it is an exploration and innovation in the creative form.By unscrambling the text of Qing Hu, combining the life experiences of Wang Meng, analyzing his creative psychology and contrasting his creative tracks and opinions, the thesis has done a comprehensive and thorough research on the ideological content, narrative art and literary value of Qing Hu.This thesis includes three chapters:The first chapter is to unscramble the mental content of Qing Hu. It both has the transverse details' prolongation and the whole longitudinal attention; it also has thorough analyses to other critic's viewpoints and unique attention to the innovation of the text. Through overall and attentive reading of this abundant and modern literature, I analyzed intellectuals' existent actualities, love ideas and psychological development. I studied the background of the epoch and the mental actualities of the characters in the text. The thesis pointed out that Wang Meng wanted to change the investigative way of intellectuals' mental morass from the traditional "Epoch Only Theory" to "People Oriented" .And it analyzed the root of the mental morass by using the viewpoint of "Moving Metamorphosis"innovatively.The second chapter is to research the narrative pattern of Qing Hu. By combining the text closely, the thesis researched on the feminine angle of view which Wang Meng attempted at Qing Hu for the first time and the narrative pattern of "Showing" which presented by the form of "Multi-tune". It unfolded the narrative's magic of Qing Hu. In addition, with the narrative structure and the narrative language, this article paid special attention to Wang Meng's inheriting and development of traditional folk literature and language characteristic of himself.The third chapter is to comment on the value of Qing Hu' s mental depth and in literary history. In content aspect, Wang Meng tried to make intellectuals ponder the question of idealist reconstruction and cultural amalgamation through his elaborating; And he wanted to establish a appropriate literary idea which conforms to the times by teasing and desconstruct literature. In form aspect, the thesis affirmed that Wang meng's non-stop "narrative reform" had brought new vigor to his creative course and even the Chinese contemporary literature.
