The Wenji The Tragedy Of Life And Its Literary Expression

Cai Wenji is a very important female writer in Chinese literature, her works have high position which can not be replaced in Han Dynasty and even in the whole history of the ancient literature. Cai Wenji is the most distinguished one among all the female poets in Han and Wei Dynasty, her works have great influence over the future generation, her tragic life and spirit fighting against her tragic life have inspired people' heart for thousands of years.Cai Wenji is a very special historical figure. She was born during the turbulent period of history with a lifetime full of frustrations and misfortune. She is a talented person, good at writing poems, calligraphy and temperament, unfortunately most of her works have been lost. Three of her poems handed down from history have similar content, describing her tragic experience of being captured by Hu ethnic minority and returning to Han Dynasty, expressing her bitterness.
