Its distinctive painting styles and artistic features have a great influence on Chinese painting history.This thesis, taking image as a thread, conducts a study on the formation, development, rise and decline of Gongbi Painting styles form the angle of Chinese aesthetic thought so as to enrich the inherent meanings of freehand brush work of Gongbi Painting since its formation, development , rise and decline are closely associated with the tendency of artistic thought in history development.
