Ming Ye To Shock Re Central Plains Phonological Research

In the history of Chinese phonetics, the importance of Zhongyuan Yinyuni (《中原音韵》 ) to modern Chinese phonetics is similar to that of Guangyun (《广韵》) or Qieyun (《切韵》) to middle-age Chinese phonetics. The study of Zhongyuan Yinyun and the rhyme books of its system has been the heat in the field of modern Chinese phonetics. The Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun (《重订中原音韵》) by Ye Yizhen in Ming Dynasty is one of the rhyme books of its system which turns into till Ming Dynasty, but can not get the educational circles scholar's study and the concern for long time. In our view, the Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun continues the form system of Zhongyuan Yinyun, inherits the reflection of south sound property of Zhongzhou Yinyun, and combined them together. Therefore, the study of the Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun has more important meaning to both the study of Zhongyuan Yinyun and Zhongzhou Yinyun. Through comparative study of Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun and Zhongyuan Yinyun, Zhongzhou Yinyun, this text will study their similarities and differences in the aspects of the sound, the rhyme and the tone, and find the phonetics structure and characteristics of the Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun, in order to provide a new material for the arrangement of the history of modern Chinese phonetics.This text is totally divided into 7. Chapter 1 is the introduction part, mainly introduces my writing motive and purpose, and the present study of the Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun by educational circles and my study method etc. Chapter 2 deals with the edition source by introducing its edition, author, age and basic characteristics. From chapter 3, we use three chapter to analyze and study its sound, rhyme and tone systems; furthermore, discuss a few outstanding problems in its three systems of initial, final and tone respectively in order to find the phonetics system reflected by it , namely the characteristics of initial, final and tone. Chapter 6 according to the structure of phonetics system we found, explains and discusses 19 rhymes in the Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun one by one. The last chapter then carries on to sum up the chapters advance, inducing its phonetics system completely, and then gets the conclusion that what it reflects is the southern mandarin system in late Ming Dynasty through the comparison between Zhongyuan Yinyun and Zhongzhou Yinyun.To sum up, through comparing Zhongyuan Yinyun and Zhongzhou Yinyun , this text carries on the study of the Renewal of Zhongyuan Yinyun, which combines the characteristics of the former twos and reflects the phonetics system of southern mandarin in late Ming Dynasty.
