The computer and Network has become the tremendous and constant source of information in people's daily life. As a carrier carrying all of the information, how can we make the website more humane and the transmission of information more effectively? It is worth while to have a in-depth discussion about this problem and to do research on it. Beyond doubt, a point of departure for resolving this problem is the Cognitive Psychology, which associated with information processing. According to this thesis, the webpage design is a process of information coding, and the visitors decode when they browse and find contents relevant to specific topics. But the brain is not simply machines, emotions and motivation always had a impact on it. And it has a developmental process with distinct differences between different age and individuals. The thesis focuses on the Schoolchildren who have the capacity and demand to navigate through websites on their own. The thesis attempts to summarize the principles, which based on cognitive psychology, of designing the webpage for children. And then practice to design some web pages.
