Prokofiev's Seventh Piano Sonata Research And Performance Analysis

Prokofiev was one of the representatives of the modernism composers in the 21 century. He has creative nine piano Sonata all together, the No.7 piano Sonata was the best one. The work is on a background of the World War II. Prokofiev used his bardian creative skill and musical languages to redisplay the ruthless war and show the thought and idea of people in the war.The thesis is base on the creative characteristics of Prokofiev' s sonatas, discussed and analysed the more creative characteristics of the No. 7 Sonata from the aspects under list: the compatible harmony, the cantus, the rhythm, the tonality and harmonic, etc, and draw the conclusion of: the No. 7 Sonata has the bright creative characteristics of individuation, nationality, based on the tradition and used the modern creative skill.In the thesis, based on learning and playing experience of myself, I analysed and detailed the requirement and processing principle on teaching and playing the No. 7 Sonata from the under list aspects: the Knock-Timbre style playing, the playing requirement of lyric paragraph, the harmony between the various strength level in the voice part, the requirement of playing speed for all the three pieces and the soft pedal using.
